Wearing Pastel this Winter

Pastel Outerwear

Ethereal hues are my favorite during the winter season–they just add a little color to an otherwise dreary existence in Michigan. This state is cloudy AF this time of year and soft pops of color make me happy. I popped this faux fur coat over a typical outfit of jeans, a tee and leather jacket. Two coats, you wonder? It’s a life hack in Michigan to double up on outerwear, otherwise be prepared to freeze your ass off (unless you have one of those amazing ankle length puffer coats!)

My Favorite Pastel Pieces for Winter

I have a thing for coats and jackets, especially pastel ones right now like this super light pink faux shearling coat. I’m also slightly obsessed with this pastel chevron faux fur jacket and wool cashmere blend coat (a little more polished and a lot on sale.)

Faux fur coat from H&M | tee from Boohoo | jeans by Levi’s | leather jacket from Topshop | Watch c/o Shinola | bag by YSL | boots by Rebecca Minkoff (similar, but more bad ass version)
