To Big Sur

My mom and I got up at 4 a.m. pacific time en route to Big Sur. With last summer’s fire and recent landslides, our trip to Big Sur wasn’t what we originally planned. We tacked on an extra hour to get there and missed out on some spots I was hoping to see, but there was still plenty of great views! We even spotted a sea otter, my mom’s one hope this trip. Styling a Tricky Sandal

The gladiator sandal may be tricky to style, but there’s a perfect version for everyone. For me, I prefer a shorter gladiator that’s still bold in black leather, but wearable for everyday. I love this particular style by Harley Davidson Footwear because it’s the perfect mix of edgy and effortless. I balanced out the shoe with a black bohemian tunic, cut off shorts and a grey hat.
