Last August, I dyed my hair red and realized by December it was perhaps a little more upkeep than I realized and I started transitioning back to blonde slowly. I had monthly appointment with my hair colorist and as I got more and more blonde, I cut more and more hair to maintain some hair health.
And now I have a full on short, blonde bob and I’m obsessed! Here are the products I’m using to get my hair back to healthy and for styling:
Hair Products I’m Loving
For shampoo, OUAI detox shampoo is by far my favorite and makes my hair feel super clean.
And lately for conditioner, I’ve been using the K18 leave in repair mask. This is something I apply to my hair after I’m out of the shower. Since I wash my hair about once a week, this is typically what I do and I’ve experienced such a difference in my hair health. I had a few areas that were severely damaged from the bleaching process and they feel so much better now.
I’ll be honest, I have so many hair products that I love and use, but lately, I’ve been reaching for Amika Wizard spray which detangles, de-frizzes and acts as a heat protectant. It can replace a few products in my arsenal and my hair feels so smooth after applying it.
The Tool I’m Using the Most
Of course, I’m still using the Dyson blow dryer but I recently bought the Shark flex style and the round brush dryer attachment works better than all the tools I’ve tried before. I’m not yet capable of using a traditional round brush and blow dryer to achieve this look, but this tool gives me the same look and it’s idiot proof.
