Weekend Wear

DSC_7574
Winter in Michigan for me means a lot of cozy nights (and weekends) in. Lucky for me, the temperature went up to a whole 19 degrees on Saturday and I was able to come out of hibernation for an afternoon with my friend Rachael. We both needed our jank nails fixed and had an appetite for bar fries, which led us first to a manicure followed by a trip to one of my favorite restaurants/bars, HopCat.
I slept in uncharacteristically late and so instead of heading to the gym for a morning workout, I found some extra time to style this super pretty sheer back blazer for my lunch date. Much better than selecting one of the many worn crewneck sweatshirts laying around my apartment.

You pull off those wide flared jeans better than anyone! I'm also usually into dark nails at this time of year, but I'm really loving the bright mani you're rocking.

    Love that classic color combo.

Props to you for donning that amazing sheer-backed blazer in such "warm" weather! πŸ˜‰

How in the world did you walk in those shoes in the snow? Amazing!

    Cheers,

LOVE these jeans. They actually look like they would be long enough on me. I have the hardest time finding jeans that I can wear with heels. – Katy
