It appears I’m inadvertently channeling the teen angst and drama from Dawson’s Creek. I’m just longingly staring into the camera wishing for Pacey cut back on the sarcasm and share his real feelings.
In other news, yesterday Kyle and I celebrated our two years together. We usually celebrate nothing since I’m not sappy. He’s not sappy. We’re both cynical and a little too practical for gift giving and celebrations, but I forced us to go out and try a new restaurant and buy expensive pasta. It was a delightful evening at Dusty’s followed by a trip to Target to pick up paper towel and dog food. Just living the fairy tale life.

All the things

Well it’s starting to look and feel a lot like fall. I love it. For a day trip to Grand Rapids, I dressed in my most comfortable layers and headed out to drink good coffee and check out Art Prize with my friend Ashley. I bought myself this Proenza Schouler bag (HALF OFF NO LIE) a couple weeks ago too and it’s slowly becoming attached to my body.
We rushed to get to Le Bon Macaron where we immediately became obsessed with the pumpkin flavor and the iced vanilla latte. We indulged in more coffee at Rowster and then checked out a couple Art Prize venues before walking through the downtown market. What a lovely day.

Northwest Photo Diary

First time in Seattle and at the market!
Giant bouquets of flowers on the cheap. So cool.
Meat and Bread: delicious.
Hotel views.
Always a blast to travel with my friend Melissa who loves to eat too many donuts, walk and explore and shop with me!

Visiting Vancouver

Every year or two, I bother my friend Melissa to take a trip together. She works for Delta so she’s always off on some adventure and I love to travel with her. So like usual, I asked her where she’d like to go and she chose Seattle and Vancouver and I was down. I hadn’t been to Seattle or Vancouver so visiting the northwest was an entirely new experience for me. I was in awe of the mountains, the coffee and most importantly in Canada, the currency exchange rate. I bought up all kinds of shit that’s priced the same in the U.S. There’s no greater high for me than getting a good deal.
We ate the best donuts I’ve ever tasted at Cartems Donuterie and absolutely loved the Gastown area and Yaletown. One of the highlights was getting to see Veronika of By The Shore. I met her and her hubby Martin three years ago and instantly clicked with them and it was no different when we met for dinner. I find them so incredibly interesting with their acting and modeling backgrounds, and how they met and their style…ahh I just love them.
