Saturday in Nashville
I stepped outside my style comfort zone and dressed in color last Saturday in Nashville for coffee and shopping with my beau. We started the day at Barry’s Bootcamp, followed by breakfast at Proper Bagel and then coffee in Barista Parlor and wandering East Nashville and the SoBro neighborhoods. But then I changed back into workout clothes for a three mile walk around some trails at Radnor Lake, so I was back in black and grey!
I made a conscious effort to challenge myself to wear anything other than black–and so I styled this silk top from Retail Therapy with jeans, cognac suede boots and a blush bag. It’s a struggle for me to pick textures and colors, especially with shoes, bag and accessories, but I’m inspired by bloggers I follow who mix prints and colors effortlessly–I’d like to be more like that.
