I wore the same thing the last two days in Atlanta due to my severe under packing and basically spent that time trying new restaurants and bakeries and wandering about markets and cool spaces that housed various home goods and accessories by local artists. Eating and shopping, my favorite past times.

We snapped these pictures outside the Krog Market and I loved how industrial the area looked. I loved all the neighborhoods Melissa took us to visit and noticed the trend of using reclaimed wood in the city, no matter if it was the exterior of a building, an outdoor bench or picnic table or indoor walls. I loved the vibes there and need to get my ass back soon! Thanks M for having us!

Crop It

I packed the least I’ve ever packed in my life and really didn’t plan any specific looks for Atlanta. I just threw in items I thought could mix and match well and it worked for me! I wore this for day 1 of shopping and dinner at Barcelona, a tapas restaurant in Inman Park where I ate meatballs, brussels sprouts and cheeses.

Well, I’m off tomorrow morning on a much needed mini vacation to Atlanta! I’ve spread myself a little too thin again and my body is exhausted and I need a little break for a girls trip (see you soon Melia and Court!) I’ve also tried this new thing called yoga..have you heard of it? Turns out, it’s actually super helpful in stress relieving and I think with the mini vacation and more yoga (and learning to say no to a few things) I can be less of a ball of stress. I just want to do all the things and I just can’t. Anyone have tips on de-stressing?

Cold Weather Maxi

I was just perusing the internet when I came across this gem of a maxi dress. I really wanted a basic maxi dress with long sleeves that I could easily style during these gloomy, ridiculously cold months ahead. And it was a steal at around $10! In basic winter fashion, I layered a leather jacket, an infinity scarf and paired it with my new buckled boots.
I wore this to meet for breakfast with Jackie Palmer, a local photographer/videographer to chat about a film idea she has for me (!!). I normally shy away from videos because I hate talking on camera. This was a hard discovery for me in college since I always thought I was destined for broadcast journalism, but I’m no natural. I end up swearing, stuttering and my eyes bounce all over the place. Luckily, Jackie has some great ideas that don’t involve me talking at all and I’m pumped to try something new and work with someone as creative as Jackie.

Bitter Cold

I bought this cardigan last week when I was burning time before a meeting..and I really haven’t taken it off since. I’m not usually a cardigan person. I’d prefer a leather moto jacket to wear over everything no matter the season, but the shape and color of this cardigan caught my eye immediately, plus it was on sale!
I wore this cozy look on Friday for a meeting/happy hour with Redhead Design Studio to discuss an upcoming hospital marketing project. And then I was off to dinner with my friends Liz and Ashley and ended the night drinking McKenzie’s hard cider (ooo so cinnamony and good!) at Zoobies.
