Sunshine, Lollipops

DSC_8236
Last week, I headed to the Mad Men themed local ADDY awards in town. A show I love, but not a decade I typically emulate in my style. If only the theme was 90s grunge..or Kesha. I could rock a Kesha themed awards gala.
I felt like a different person with this hairstyle and it was fun to escape my normal look and a typical week night on my couch by heading out to the ADDYs. Last week was rough, but I genuinely had a great time getting dressed up and seeing some of my favorite creative people.

those pumps are a beautiful exuberance of femme fatale, and pair perfectly with the very dear dress, with its soft pleats and lollipop color.

i assume, or i hope, your title is in reference to the incredible leslie gore? what a babe.

I love how you made the 50's look work for you with edgier heels. Great modern twist of a vintage classic.
