I flew to Las Vegas this past week to rendezvous with two of my childhood friends, Courtney and Melissa and last Monday, we made a day trip to Laguna Beach and LA. We didn't have many plans set, but to sightsee, eat and shop. I wore my standard outfit: an emerald tee, leather jacket and boots combo. And of course, leopard print.

Living in the midwest, It's not often I get to see mountains and you can imagine how excited I was to see them throughout Vegas and the West Coast.

Before kids, I often go on impromptu trips with my husband (then boyfriend) and friends. They were so much fun, and certainly a huge part of being young.
