For the rare moment in time when I ponder my relationship status and wonder, "why am I still single?" this photo alone answers the question.
Last week when I got ready for work, I suddenly like the combination of a minty green and red and then to match my shoes and purse, something I haven't purposefully done since I was 13 and believed this to be an unspoken rule in dressing yourself.

haha i love the top photo so much. too cute! once I wore pink shoes and had a pink purse, and I think I might have had a matching bracelet too, and this guy said ' you accessorize like a mo-fo'...but he like really swore it out and I was so taken aback I've never matched my purse and shoes since.

Actually I think this first photo is the best photo of all time! I personally cannot believe that you are single--you little vixen you! This minty green top is so pretty. I have been mint obsessed (does that make me sound like that guy in the Shit Fashion Girls Say video or what?) for quite a while now. Love the red pumps too!

Nah, that picture proves you're cool enough to deserve someone interesting and shouldn't just settle for any random guy.
I remember having a discussion with my mom and her 3 sisters (ages 56 to 76) whether it was still okay to match shoes and purse or "not done". Conclusion: if you live long enough you see trends come and go so many times you learn to just do what you like. And I'll stick to that too :)
