Lumberjack

DSC_7454
This weekend has been a miserable one. I've been sick and somehow managed to take some pictures to document this in an outfit I really like despite my sickly circumstances. It was pretty warm last Saturday so I layered a cozy flannel and a cropped jacket over my sweatshirt with a pair of vintage Levi cut offs and my new boots from MIA. And that's all she wrote.

[boots c/o MIA, shorts by Levi's, men's sweatshirt from surplus Urban Outfitters, flannel c/o Threadsence (from last year), jacket by Zara, hat by BDG, glasses by Warby Parker, beaded pink bracelet c/o 31 bits, bracelets and watch from kie&kate, leather bracelet from an art fair]

Brill! This is something I would wear. Flannel is my favorite this time of year and I love dressing it up with edgier pieces! Well done!

Hope you feel better!

So gorgeous! Such a comfy looking outfit - and yet totally chic! Would not have known you were sick, though I'm inclined to swim in sweatpants and used tissues when I'm feeling ill. Feel better!

I was sick too this weekend, had to cancel on a party with 5-course dinner in a swanky hotel, an event I've had an outfit picked out for for over 2 months :(
And I had to cancel my hairdresser as well. Ugh.
If it's any conciliation, you look way better than I did, I only wore flannel pajamas. The boots are especially great.
Here's to better weekends in the future!

Feel better :( If you were sick in these photos I would have had no idea. You look gorgeous. I love how you can still look feminine in a more rugged outfit. Maybe it's your amazing hair!

It's no fun being sick, especially around the holiday season. Feel better soon! If it makes a difference, you are still stunning sick or not!

I love your outfit today, Andrea! You make plaid look so chic! You've been such an inspiration for me. Your blog is bookmarked as my 'daily reads' so I follow it a little closer than some of the other blogs. I've been reading fashion blogs for a little over a year, and I finally mustered up the courage to start my own style blog a couple of months ago, and it's just getting off the ground. If you want to check it out, it would mean the world to me.

I stopped posting in it for a while because I got discouraged. Then I went back to a couple of years ago when you posted your very first few outfits and I became re-inspired. Thank you for that :)

my blog url is http://www.livingincolor.blogs.... please, if you any advice, comments or criticisms, let me know! I'm open to all!!!

thanks,
