In a Land of Perpetual Snow

2011Mar05_0389
These photos look like I'm in the middle of Narnia, perhaps in pursuit of Mr. Tumnus while delighting in the land's mystical beauty. Really, I was behind a Target store freezing my ass off. I'm not sure why I constantly wear impractical clothing during winter. I wore this last Saturday after I was done photographing a friend's engagement session in my hometown. I forced my mom to run to Target with me and I promised her treats from Starbucks. I seem to hold her hostage all the time and offer treats in exchange. If only I could pay everyone in coffee and scones.

Ok, I've never liked American Apparel, but that jacket is sick. Guess I have to give them another chance!

And the snowflakes are gorg - as it the lady in them!

Hey I have that exact same cardigan in that color! I bought it a zillion years ago, and have only worn it like 3 times, aha. I actually love it though, so thanks for reminding me I own this :o)

It DOES look like Narnia! haha.
I love this outfit. The jacket over the cardigan is a simple idea, but it makes the look really interesting. :]

I have these shoes and I bought them last summer. I love them so much, but I have yet to wear them with socks. They look great with sock, so cute! I will have to try it. I am also in love with your edgy bag :) The snow around you looks so romantic and pretty.

Love the shoes. Great outfit. Your jacket reminds me of a skirt I had when I was little. Although it was black and white.

It is a common question of mine, why do I dress so impractically. At some point a mother of three should start dressing like one. Instead I wear stilettos to class performances and accessories the my toddler tries to rip from my body. Why. *sigh* Because it's SO pretty and I can't bear to take it off!
